The King’s College campus came together on Wednesday, April 23rd, to immerse themselves in languages, cultures, and cuisine at the “Taste of a Global Language” event, held in the Toole Lobby of the Campus Center.
The event was a great opportunity for the campus to learn new languages from student and faculty presenters. Presenters prepared posters and taught their designated language to attendees as they navigated the event’s learning stations. The event offered a variety of languages, including Swahili, French, Spanish, Haitian Creole, American Sign Language, dialects from Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom, and even text and Gen-Z lingo.
