Kingās College values service and helps its students to form a nurturing community.
On October 8, 2025, Kingās students and staff members took a volunteer trip to Baltimore for a service opportunity. They gave up their break and gave their time to work with Habitat for Humanity of Chesapeake in Maryland, preparing homes for low-income families and building hope.
Throughout this experience, students had a chance to connect with each other on another level by working together and participating in daily reflection activity, which is a debrief of the day, as well as exploring the city.
On behalf of Kingās Community and Shoval Center, please give them a thumbs up if you see them around campus! The participants were Jeverett Brauer, Kelisbeth Thwaites-Gonzalez, Justin Cabrera, Caoimhe Taylor, Mann Patel, Veronica Nunez, Bella Wigle, Hunter Griffith, Thifany Olmedo, Martheen Beauvais, Matt Prudente (staff leader) and Jordyn Bortz (staff leader).
