KC Theatre Presents “The Actor’s Nightmare” by Christopher Durang

KC theatre invites you to our upcoming “Brown Bag Theatre” production of “The Actor’s Nightmare” by Christopher Durang, April 14th-16th at 12:20 pm at the Maffei Theatre.

Featuring Esteemed Faculty Sean Cryan & King’s College President Thomas Looney!

In this outrageously absurd and ridiculous piece of one-act theatre, penned by of one of contemporary theatre’s most unique and delightfully quirky voices, the late Christopher Durang, an everyman is mistaken by a stage manager to be a last-minute replacement actor, and is thrust onstage with absolutely no clue about the play, the lines, or anything at all. Watch in absolute horror, dismay, anxiety, and confusion as we watch this man navigate his way, line by line, movement by movement through the theatrical worlds of Noel Coward, Shakespeare, Samuel Beckett, and an award-winning British historical drama. This is a one-act you cannot miss, so come one, come all and enjoy “The Actor’s Nightmare”!

Tickets are available at the door and online at https://www.onthestage.tickets/kings-college-theatre. FREE for King’s Students!

In memory of Playwright Christopher Durang (April 2024)
