King’s College Theatre Department will continue its 2025–26 Mainstage Season with William Shakespeare’s “The Tempest.”

Directed by Professor and Department Chairperson Dave Reynolds, the production will run Nov 13-16th, 20th, and 21st at 7:30pm, and Nov 16th at 2pm in the George P. Maffei II Theatre (Mulligan Physical Science Center).

“King’s Theatre invites you to experience the magic and mystery of The Tempest, our 76th Shakespearean performance. Set on a remote island where spirits roam and secrets unravel, this tale of betrayal, love, and forgiveness unfolds under the spellbinding influence of Prospero, a powerful magician and wronged duke.
With its rich language, unforgettable characters, and themes of reconciliation and wonder, The Tempest continues to enchant audiences across generations. This production brings Shakespeare’s poetic vision to life with evocative staging, compelling performances, and a touch of theatrical enchantment.

Performances will be held in the George P. Maffei II Theatre, located in the Mulligan Physical Science Center. Tickets are $8–$20 and free for current King’s College students with ID.
