Academic and Civic Communities Observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day Through Tributes, Educational Programs, and Philanthropic Initiatives.

On January 20 to 22nd, the Multicultural office, the Shoval Center, and the King’s College community celebrated Martin Luther King Jr. Day by honoring the past, celebrating a legacy of future, inspiring future generations.

They had a three-day trivia challenge where students stopped by the Campus Center Lobby, grabbed hot chocolate, learned about the MISP and Shoval Center offices, and were encouraged to come back each day to get more questions for the challenge and win more raffle tickets for prizes. They had a donation station where people donated coats, stocked the community kitchen, and the care and coat closets. The donations were dropped either at Campus Center Lobby or at the Shoval Center.
