UNITY Showcase – Black History Month Celebration

The Black Student Union and KC Theater proudly presents the 2nd Annual Unity Showcase, a dynamic talent showcase celebrating Black excellence, creativity, and culture. This year’s showcase features powerful performances in spoken word, singing, dancing, stepping, and more, highlighting the diverse talents of students and community members.
The 2026 theme, “Resilience,” will be woven throughout the evening as performers reflect strength, perseverance, and the enduring impact of Black history and culture. Through artistic expression, the Unity Showcase creates space for storytelling, celebration, and collective reflection.
In recognition of Black History Month, the Black Student Union invites the campus and surrounding community to join in this vibrant celebration, where students and local community groups come together to honor the past, uplift the present, and inspire the future.
