King’s College is proud to host this special event for the third year in a row, helping students and community members prepare for upcoming formal occasions—at no cost.
Attendees are invited to browse a wide selection of free gowns, cocktail dresses, evening bags, and dress shoes—everything you might need for a formal event. There is no registration required—simply show up and shop. Dressing areas will be available on site to try on items.
Light refreshments will be served courtesy of King’s College, and door prizes—including corsages and beauty salon gift certificates—have been generously donated by local businesses. This year, we are also pleased to offer a Spanish interpreter at the event to assist attendees.
We are currently accepting donations of gowns, cocktail dresses, evening bags, and dress shoes. Donations may be dropped off at:
- Alley Center Lobby or the Post Office at King’s College
- The Barn (Shavertown)
- Changes Consignment Shop (Scranton)
- The Local Emporium Co. (Tunkhannock)
- The Blooming Barn (Hunlock Creek)
- Back Mountain Makery (Dallas)
