Earth Week Event: Hearts of Glass Screening and Panel Discussion

As part of Earth Week, the McGowan Center for Ethics and Social Responsibility—along with campus partners—will host a special screening of Hearts of Glass, a documentary that explores sustainability, entrepreneurship, and inclusion through the story of Vertical Harvest, an innovative urban farm in Jackson, Wyoming. The film highlights a unique model that combines local food production with meaningful employment opportunities, including for individuals with disabilities.

Following a campus-wide screening, join us on April 23 at 4 p.m. in Burke Auditorium for a panel discussion featuring the filmmaker and members of the Vertical Harvest team (joining virtually), along with King’s faculty, for a conversation shaped by questions from students across campus.
