King’s Theatre invites students to audition for its upcoming production of William Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew!
Interested in auditioning?
- Sign up for an audition time
- Complete the audition form
- Prepare one Shakespearean comedic monologue, approximately one minute or 10–12 lines. Please expect to receive some redirection during your audition.
- Come prepared with your schedule and all potential conflicts, including classes (especially night classes), work, sports, extracurricular activities, trips, retreats, etc. This information will help the directors develop the rehearsal schedule if you are cast.

Monologues will be available at auditions for non-Theatre majors/minors and first-time auditionees. However, memorized material is strongly encouraged and will give you a better chance of being cast.
