Three faculty members from the Master of Science in Athletic Training Program received national awards in June 2024. Aaron Hand, Tim Kulpa, and Dave Marchetti all received the Athletic Trainer Service Award from the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA). The Athletic Trainer Service award recognizes NATA members for their commitment to leadership, volunteer service, advocacy and professional activities at the local and state levels. ATSA recipients have been involved in professional associations, community organizations, grassroots public relations efforts and service as a volunteer athletic trainer. Aaron, Tim, and Dave received their awards at the 75th NATA Clinical Symposium & AT Expo in New Orleans. We believe that this is the first time that three athletic trainers at one institution received this award in the same year.
