Dr. McGowan Wins Best Case Award at SECRA Conference

Dr. Michele M. McGowan, John S. Davis Distinguished Service Professor and Director of the Master of Science in Health Care Administration program, received the Best Case Award at the Southeast Case Research Association (SECRA) Conference for her case, “Pouring Potential into Reality: Strategic Mapping at Sylf.”

SECRA is a regional organization dedicated to promoting excellence in case research and case-based teaching across business disciplines. The award recognizes outstanding teaching cases that engage students in real-world decision-making. Dr. McGowan’s case examines the strategic challenges of an early-stage venture as it navigates resource constraints and growth decisions.
