Ten students were recently inducted into the Financial Management Association Honor Society at the William G. McGowan School of Business Honor Societies Ceremony on Friday, April 10. The FMA National Honor Society was founded in 1974 by the Financial Management Association International. It is the only such society specifically for finance students. The King’s College Finance Association became a student chapter of FMA in 1996. The FMA Honor Society recognizes outstanding finance students for their academic achievements. The King’s College Chapter admits junior and senior finance majors who have attained a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 overall GPA and a 3.5 GPA in finance and related coursework. Students must have completed at least six hours of finance at time of induction.
