Curious, creative, and ready for a summer challenge? King’s College is excited to announce the College-wide Call for Proposals for the 2027 Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP).

This program offers a unique opportunity for students to dive deep into a research project with a faculty mentor, build their professional portfolios, and share their academic work with the campus community.

Program Highlights & Support:

  • Awards Available: Up to seven SURP grants will be awarded this cycle (including two dedicated to ethics-focused projects and one reserved for the Earth Conservancy Scholarship).
  • Stipends: $2,800 for the student researcher and $1,200 for the faculty mentor.
  • Academic Credit: Students may earn up to 6 credits with no tuition charge.
